Our FirebirdĀ®Ā pickup may look like a mini-humbucker without poles, but itās truly its own thing! The unique FirebirdĀ®Ā is designed to sound closer to a fat single-coil than a full-size humbucker. Compared with a mini-humbucker, it features a brighter overall sound and a bass response that remains tight and defined noticeably longer. It also gives you less snarl and more spank.
NOTE: Using one of our Soapbar/LP Deluxe mounting rings, our Firebird pickups can also be installed as direct drop-in replacements for guitars with standard P-90 soapbar routs.
