NO! This is a completely different circuit. The Tall Font Russian is based on Mattās #1 Sov BM, a transitional version Tall Font from late ā94/ā95. That pedal finds its beauty on the opposite end of the spectrum because of its oddball low output, low gain bordering on overdrive, and less extreme tone range. These are intentionally two different tools, each with its own character and merit.
